The results of fire resistance tests of six reinforced concrete beams exposed to the standard ASTM E119 test conditions and to a short duration high intensity fire are described and summarized.
The measured temperatures, deflections, expansions and slopes together with the thermal and structural properties of concrete and steel were used to validate predictive thermal structural analysis computer programs.
